Official Buying Portal & Registration Phases
FIFA allocates tickets through several sales phases, starting with a random selection draw (lottery) followed by a first-come, first-served purchasing period. Fans must create a ticket account on the official FIFA Tickets website to participate in these phases.
Ticket applications are divided by match number, team schedules, or venue packages. Pricing is categorized into four classes, with Category 4 reserved exclusively for local residents of the host countries.
Preventing Secondary Market & Reseller Scams
Due to the extreme demand for matches, fans must remain vigilant against ticketing scams. Commercial secondary marketplaces and ticket brokers are not authorized to distribute tickets.
FIFA reserves the right to invalidate any ticket purchased through unauthorized reseller platforms. Fans holding these tickets will be denied entry to the stadium gates without refund.
If you need to sell or purchase tickets after primary phases close, use the official FIFA resale platform. This platform permits fans to trade tickets at face value, protecting both buyers and sellers from inflation and fraud.
Digital Mobile Entry Gate Guidelines
To enter the stadium, fans must present their tickets on the official mobile app. Dynamic barcodes are refreshed periodically to prevent duplication or screenshot fraud. Make sure your mobile phone is fully charged and that you have downloaded the tickets to your app before arriving at the stadium gates.
